Contests at the Alameda County Fair 2011

Contests at county fairs are a real tradition. Throughout my years of doing
interviews I believe they have become more important. The Alameda County
Fair, for as big as it is, and as many traditions as it has - has also a
lot of contests! We have traditional ones and some that are a little weird.
Some of them, are a hat contest, hot dog eating contest, green treasure
hunt, teenage battle of the bands, Amateur Rib Cook Off, a $10,000 putting
contest reminiscent of miniature golf, the third annual gumbo contest, and
lots and lots of others. This is an interview with Courtney Townsend who is
responsible as she pointed out for some of them but not all.
